WWU Living offers more than 10 unique floor plans so all of our residents can find an apartment to suit their needs. We have one, two, three, four and five-bedroom floor plans.

Resident Events

While education is the main focus of your student’s college career, it’s also important to have fun along the way. At WWU Living, residents create life-long connections that will help them become even more successful. Our staff plans regular events, which range from pizza parties to gaming tournaments to resume-building classes. We also help keep our residents connected to events hosted by Western Washington University.

What does it mean to have an individual lease?

Individual leasing means each resident is responsible only for their portion of the rent, which includes their bedroom and common areas. If a resident’s roommate moves out of the apartment, you are not responsible for the roommate’s rent payment.

What is included in the rent?

In addition to the apartment itself, rent includes WIFI and access to all the amenities at WWU Living and an excellent staff that’s there to help with any and all needs.

When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the first day of every month.

How do I pay rent?

Acceptable payment methods: Personal check, money order or major credit card. Through the resident portal, payments can be made online.

Do you allow pets?

Yes! All our communities are pet-friendly. We require a $200 refundable pet deposit and a $250 non-refundable pet fee. Our pet rent is $35 per month. The weight limit is 60 pounds, and we allow no more than two pets per apartment. Dogs must be at least six months old. We accept all dog breeds, with the exception of the following (including any dog that contains any of the following): Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Pit Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, wolf-dog hybrid. We require proof of vaccinations and a photo of the pet prior to move-in. If your pet is an emotional support animal, we require written documentation from a medical professional.

Is there insurance coverage in the event of a fire, theft or natural causes? Does my lease provide coverage for my belongings?

To fulfill the lease obligation, all new and renewing residents are required to provide evidence of liability or property damage insurance at a minimum limit of $100,000. For the convenience of residents, we have identified an affordable insurance option: ePremium is an insurance program developed for multifamily residents. There is no application and acceptance is guaranteed for residents of this community.

What if I need maintenance in my bedroom or apartment?

If you need maintenance, go to the resident portal on our website and fill out a request. You’re also welcome to call or stop by the front desk. If there’s an emergency, please notify the front desk immediately, or, if it’s after hours, call 1(360)922-9974.

What furniture is provided?

Our apartments are unfurnished.

How do I receive mail and packages?

Your mail will be delivered to your apartment’s mailbox, which is located on WWU Living property. Larger parcels are typically delivered to the office, and we will contact you upon receipt.

What kinds of events do you have at WWU Living?
